All breeding stock has Canadian Championships as do several of my breeding owned by others – usually piloted by friend and handler Graeme Burdon or his daughter Emily. Three have Canadian Grand Championships, and another three have some of the points required. Can GCH Kieran of Carannagh (Caleb), owned by Sheila Davidson, also has his American Championship and is 3 points short of his American Grand Championship.
Ch Carannagh’s Georgia finished her Canadian Championship with a Group One, St Catherine’s Ontario (2009). Georgia also has her Rally Novice Title and won the 2013 Irish Setter Club of Canada (ISCC) Versatility Award (conformation + rally).
Georgia is the mother of two Carannagh litters and grand-mother of another to date.

GCh Carannagh’s Callen is Georgia’s son out of Ch Maronova’s Summer Inspiration “Connor” CD, FDJ, RN. 6 best puppies in group, RWD at the Ottawa Valley All Setter Association (OVASA) Specialty from the puppy class, and 2 group wins. He completed his championship at 16 months and his grand championship 2 months later. He also has one rally novice and one field dog junior leg, both to be completed when time allows.

GCh Carannagh’s Mo “Ciara” Lind RN is Callen’s full sister. She is co-owned with Maureen Sargeant of Kingston. Ciara finished her championship and grand championship easily and was awarded two group placements in the process. She also has strong hunting instincts, but has not yet found the time to pursue her first field title.

Can GCh and Am Champion Kieran of Carannagh “Caleb” completed his Am Championship in 4 weekends. He is owned by Sheila Davidson and lives with his littermate Brandi. He is Callen and Ciara’s half-brother from an earlier litter by Connor and Ch Carannagh’s Lindy O’Burgandyrun FDJ, RN, 2004 and 2011 ISCC versatility award winner.

Thanks to the love and dedication of their owners, five of eleven puppies in the 2013 litter achieved their Canadian Championships by 20
months of age, and some have also completed performance titles.
Ch Carannagh’s Little Redford PCD finished his championship from the puppy classes. Named after his great-great uncle Ch Carannagh’s Redford CD FDJ, he is also owned and loved by Mike Burke. Redford and house-mate Irish Bonnie Rose PCD, RN, FDJ live near Ottawa. He was the first of the five champions in his litter from mom Georgia and dad Ch Fairline Rafferty.

Ch Carannagh’s Jiggs Dinner PCD, RN, RI, owned and loved by Jennie Mullowney and Greg Snyder, finished his championship at 18 months and had already acquired 11 grand championship points 2 months later. Jiggs also shows great promise in obedience and rally, and is working on his FDJ under the careful hand of Greg.
“Dinner” refers to St. Patrick’s Day celebrations in Newfoundland – but I doubt his owners
(or breeder) ever thought they would see it in print!
Ch Carannagh’s Caileigh finished her championship at 17 months under Judge Jocelyne Gagne, and by years-end had 6 grand championship points. In November 2015 she qualified as a service dog in Toronto.

Carannagh’s Seamus completed his Canadian Championship at Valley in June 2015 at 18 months under international judge Franklin Van Der Spuy of South Africa, and currently has 4 grand championship points. He is owned by Gord and Anne Jones and shows great promise in rally and obedience.

Ch Carannagh’s Cara Rose is the fifth of her litter to be awarded her Canadian championship, finishing at the Thousand Islands Kennel and Obedience Club show in August 2015. She is owned and loved by Carole Champion and her great uncle Ch. Carannagh Mac “Shayne” O’Cashel (Ch Silverstone Sundance Kid “Sonny” FDJ x Ch Carannagh’s Rua “Rose”).
